Propylene Flashback Arrestor

Argoco Españas Propylene Flashback Arrestor is a vital piece of safety equipment when using any Oxygen/Propylene set up. These small devices prevent dangeroud flashbacks entering both regulators and cylinders. These flashbacks can occur due to a nmber of reasons, often in a busy garage enviroment. They are caused by a hose becoming damaged during us. 

Using more unstable fuels such as Acetylene also increases the risk of flashbacks during normal use, a great advantage to using Propylene is that its safer and more stable in its nature which results in a dramatically decreased risk of flashbacks. This is not to say any Oxygen/Propylene set up should be operated without safe, in date flashback arrestors fitted to both the propylene and oxygen cylinders. 

These singe use flashback arrestors are a perfect balanace between cost effectiveness and performance. With the reduced risk of flashbacks when using Propylene, a more expensive resettable flashback arrestor is often simply not required. Remember to replace any Oxygen/Propylene equipment which shows signes of damage or excess wear.
